Hunt For The Friendliest Colleges In India 2012.
Kids how have you been? It has been so long. Here comes uncle shasha from Delhi with stacks of love-stories (*Oops!*) I meant love, stories and gossips. As I have had mention in my previous blog that I am gone to Host "Hunt for the friendliest colleges in India 2012" for Cadbury and MTV. I went to 11 Colleges across the city and I met so many beautiful, aspiring, inspiring, energetic, blunt, and friendly people (*Cheers!*). Actually what I saw there was the real India, because in Mumbai we have adopted and tend to live in western style. I hadn’t happened to discover Delhi completely in 15 days (*Damn!*). Because I didn’t went on vacation I went to work.
But don’t you worry mate I am gonna keep this blog short and simple with less complications and more humor (*Haha*). From Badarpur to Kashmiri gate (*Metro Stations*) I had travelled in metro train (*Knock on woods*) one of the nicest things in Delhi and the other are girls (*Woof!*). The moment I came out from the airport I fell in love with Delhi; roads were so broad and it had less traffic as compared to Mumbai, and I felt so freaking, awesome about it! But I still got lucky to spot beggars (*uhh*) and some hot chicks (*Yeah!*). I visited colleges, pubs, Cyber city, Monuments, and marketsplace of chandni chowk. But In this blog I am gonna talk about my show “Hunt For The Friendliest Colleges In India 2012” sponsored by Cadbury Dairy Milk & MTV India. It’s a contest where seniors and juniors collaborate to win the title (The Friendliest College) for their respective college competing against 10 best colleges, from their city. Where we went to 10 colleges of DU, Delhi and from every college we only selected two best teams according to their scores and with that criteria, there were 20 teams in grand finale and Carnival of HFTFCII.
We conducted two Semis’ and one finale with one minute games. And then we had our winning team “Maitreyi College” But amidst all event we had live pop-rock band (Faridkot) performance and free food and drinks* on the house and Winners got iPods, CDM (chocolates), Certificates, and a trophies. We had a houseful at Amity University Gurgaon. The temperature and the crowd were so palpable almost 80% of the crowds were same as my age. I made so many friends and I’d also spent one entire day conversing, entertaining, and flirting as hosteller of Amity University (*already in love the ambience*). I made my own group with no time. I’ll continue about this in my next blog tomorrow. Now before I sign off, I would like to thank Amity University Gurgaon for their unfeigned hospitality.
